His Divine Grace was created in 1999 by Moonchild Erik in Paris, France, and has released music on Hau Ruck!, Dark Vinyl, Nekofutschata and Reue um Reue. In 2009, Moonchild joined forces with LaMort (aka Laszlo PS from Wermut) and De Grâce was born, moving HDG's dark ambient sound into more post-metal and leftfield territories.
